Calculator inputs
Surface measurements, paint settings and quotes are processed in the browser. The calculator does not send those inputs to an application server, save them in a database, or persist them in browser storage. Reloading the page restores the example.
Downloads and printing
Downloading creates a text file on your device. Printing uses your browser’s print function. Neither operation submits your plan to us. Your device, browser or chosen printer service controls what happens to that local output.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and page performance. Its browser script reports visits, pageviews, referring websites, country, browser and page-loading performance. These reports help us see which pages are used and where performance needs attention. Visits count entrances from another website or a direct link; they do not identify unique people. Cloudflare states that this analytics service does not use cookies or localStorage, or fingerprint individuals for analytics. See Cloudflare's privacy-first analytics explanation.
Cloudflare receives a source IP address as part of delivering the analytics request. Its RUM documentation says that address is discarded at the nearest Cloudflare data centre and is not stored in core databases or logs. This describes analytics processing; ordinary hosting and security processing is described separately below. See Cloudflare's RUM data processing documentation.
The calculator processes project inputs on your device. Measurements, quantities, prices, section names and project files are not included in analytics reports or sent by the calculator to the analytics service. The analytics script loads from Cloudflare's service separately from the local calculator code.
Cookies and advertising
This site has no active advertising scripts, tracking pixels, account system or contact form. The calculator does not set application cookies. The publisher verification tag and ads.txt record identify a proposed advertising account; they do not load advertising.
Google Search Console
Google Search Console provides the operator with aggregate reports about the site in Google Search, such as impressions and clicks. These reports concern activity in Google Search rather than recordings of calculator use. Search Console verification does not add analytics JavaScript or visitor-tracking cookies to this site, and the calculator does not transmit its inputs to Search Console. Hosting and ordinary requests
Coatcount is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical request information such as IP address, browser details, requested page and request time to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its handling of information.
Contact messages
The public contact address uses SimpleLogin to forward email to the owner’s private inbox. Email forwarding involves processing the sender’s address, message headers and message body. The owner receives the forwarded message and uses correspondence to review an enquiry and reply. Your email provider and the receiving mailbox provider also process email under their own policies.
