01 / YOUR SURFACES

What gets a fresh coat?

One paint product and colour per plan.

Walls or other flat surfaces

Measure each painted rectangle in metres. Use quantity for matching walls. Remove all surface rows to plan only a ceiling.

Openings you will not paint

Subtract measured doors, windows or other unpainted areas from the walls above. Leave no rows if nothing needs subtracting.

For a different ceiling paint, make a separate plan. Openings above are deducted from walls only.

Measure the painted area.

Openings are deducted before multiplying by coats. Only include a ceiling if it shares this paint product.

Use your label.

Coverage and coats are editable. The starting values demonstrate the calculation and do not promise real coverage.
